santa claus is coming...

well here I am to say a huge thanks to all my fab followers

well today...shock..horror no tag!!!

so here is a Santa canvas:

 

I used Tim's fab crumpled tissue wrap technique on the background

and added inks and shimmery spray..

 

some snowflakes stamped with music in iced spruce

and a wooden star in centre

 

 

a dusting of ..

rock candy glitter..

rude not too..

and yes there is still loads in my pot!!!

 

a flower from Tim paper and tattered floral die

 

 

finally this fab Tim component Santa stamp, which I LOVE

a banner with sentiment on

ooh and some lace

my tag no 8 for the funkie junkies 12 tags of christmas 2012

hey there and thanks to everyone who has taken the time to stop by

 and be part of my creative journey..

well here I am with another tag ..no 8. for the funkie junkies twelve tags of Christmas 2012.

so here is mine :

( mine is very different this time)

 

 

my inspiration came from Santa and the wonderful flower with bingo token centre..

 

I started by stamping this fab little star in clear and clear embossing then

inking tag in brown DI, and spritz and flick ..

and roughening edge with tonic tool and inking.

 

this fab Santa component stamp is stamped on sticky back canvas.

lightly inked around the edges

 

 

I added kraft snowflakes with wooden star centres.

got a bit of a thing about these stars!!!

 

 

I added crochet lace to continue the neutral and natural colours and feel..

finally a flower cut as Linda's..cut from unbleached calico

and the centre a rusted bingo piece..

could I find no 25.....NO!!!!

 

 

not at all like Linda's but definitely inspired by many elements of her tag..

just couldn't do red sorry!!!!

 

p.s guess what?.. I did it!!! I made a tag with NO rock candy loose glitter!!

have shocked myself!!
