hi there,
well here i am and the sun has been shining!!! what a turn up, so here i am and yes , as promised , not a tag in sight!!so now to my new love, dylusisons and my journal..i am hooked, so here is my next page..no 2..
I started by making a inky background and then got busy with my stencils..all the sprays used were the new dylusions colours. then to add interest, or that's what i think i added some stencilling using snowcap paint dabber.
Of course it would not be complete without some distress and i used black soot DI around the page edges...I then added stamping, using dylusions stamps and some indigo blu stamps..some were stamped direct to the page and some were stamped on a tag i used to mop up inks..see I have picked up some of Dyan's fab tips already...i have lots of tags ready to go..but liked the idea of using this as it totally coordinated.
I added glossy accents to the butterflies bodies and then a quote coloured and spritzed with seasonal distress..now i know i can re ink I can play to my hearts content!
I do love how all the layers give texture and depth, although it is hard not too add lots of ideaology..but i somehow think the book wouldn't shut!!!
Sorry, still here?

This is gorgeous, love the colours, the layers and the fact that you have texture (without adding further dimension). I think you have learned extremely well from the Mistress - Dyan. Crafty hugs, Anne Rx
