shattered stains for compendium of curiosities vol 2 challenge,technique 5

hi there,
well it is fab for that great compendium of curiosities challenge again hosted by the wonderful Linda.  i want to try and enter every week and try every technique..so here goes..my next entry, the technique for shattered stains can be found on p48, described and shown by the master himself! The fab sponsor is Simon says stamp, how fab!
here is mine:

I loved this when we met it on the creative chemistry course and fell in love with it right away..such a great effect.
The background for the tag combined lots of distress inks, masking, stamping parts of stamps..from part of last weeks tag and some picket fence stamping.

I love this sentiment, found when i was rummaging in a stamp draw. I completed the tag with an ideaology word band and some ribbon , coloured with crushed olive.
