a spooky challenge...with Michelle

well a while ago Michelle and i did a challenge thee..
.and here is another....
fab challenge...
now Michelle is the canvas queen...
and it was her choice so.. its a mini canvas board...
hope i come up to scratch...

so  we both make something on the theme decided using the same materials..

so here is the recipe:

canvas board
arts parts residence
Halloween theme
stamps
paint
gesso
die cuts
distress ink
mystery ingredient..i used metal..

so here is my make:

i started by gluing my die cuts to the canvas board
and then covered in paints and
when dry lots of layers of inky yumminess..
using black soot, metallic distress stain and pumice stone
i left the tree so it looked like it was highlighted
i edged using a fab stabilo all pencil....recommended by Hels
(which can be blended in with a waterbrush!)

i added lots of layers of die cuts to the bottom,
i love this graveyard on the edge die..
and added layers of this coloured and distressed in different ways...

i also added the fab fence die, inked,
embossed and layered with more ink..

the house,
was covered in layers of embossed metal
and inked
i added a screw brad for the door knob..

finally for the stamped element
i added a Halloween tag stamp
..
oh and i added some flying bats!

make sure you pop across here to see Michelle's fab make...
and lets hope she is happy to do another challenge soon!

i love it, gets the brain cells going!!!!!
