and the other side :
so I went for a chunky block of wood altered and painted up. I started by painting the block in this yummy blue, ( pool paint dabber straight from bottle) ,then when dry set to work stamping. I added layers of painty stamping using Sam Pooles bubble wrap and chicken wire stamps, using paint dabbers in snow cap, black soot, silver and pearl. I also added some circles using an old bottle lid dipped in pearl paint.
when dry I edged all edges in black soot paint dabber to make them stand out.
On this side I added lots of idea-ology , the heart from the set hearts entwined, stamped in black and I added some wings, embossed using replacements folder.
On the other side I added a different heart stamp from the same set and lots more idea-ology. I also stamped the sentiment straight onto the block.
I hope you have liked my make this week, hope you liked it..
have a fun and inky one!
Lovely Trace , the colour is yummy and I like the black distressed edges and your use of ideaology . The bubble wrap stamp looks very striking in the background. Tracy
