I started with a canvas that I painted with mermaid fresco and then swiped with nougat. Once dry, I added some texture paste through a Dylusions leaf stencil and left to dry.
when all was dry, I swiped across the canvas and also the raised leaves with treasure gold in aquamarine and white fire ( a firm favourite of mine!).
I then cut out the frame using my new cabinet and min cabinet dies, this was cut from grungeboard that had been coloured with copper verday paint and sprayed and left to do its thing! Then is wiped this with white fire treasure gold and paint .
I stamped the beautiful LaBlanche fairy, onto crackly tissue paper and then painted the dress on the back.I added loose rock candy glitter to her flowers and made a second set of wings using clearly for art, clear, which can be heated and shaped.
I stamped out the beautiful sentiment ( stampers anonymous classics #8)
"Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, Love gives us a fairy tale."
Once all the elements had been glued on ,( I used multi medium matte to attach the tissue and then added some colour around to blend in,) I set to decorating with wire and leaves.
the leaves were cut using autumn gatherings die from silver DIY tape, dabbed with paint and then swiped with treasure gold .
I also added flowers made from tattered floral die and painted with copper verday paint.
well hope you like my unusual for me make, I really enjoyed making it!

Ooooh, love this, it has such a beautiful fairytale feel to it! I absolutely adore the flowers and leaves you added, simply stunning! Funnily enough I used the same fairy stamp for my piece, but mine is a graphics 45 one and you say yours is a La Blanche..... So now I am really curious, have La Blanche used the same image? Must go and check that out. I guess if images are in the public domain anyone can make a stamp out of them....
