Bon voyage for anything goes travel themed dt piece

it is challenge time again at anything goes and this time the theme is travel ,around the world. So here is mine:

I decided to do a note book and started by colouring the book with DI,then I played with Tim's travel labels set, colouring the stamps with distress markers onto masking paper, cutting out and applying , them covering with vintage photo DI, to blend them in.
The focal images are the fab nautical themed ones, stamped in black archival. I added a sentiment and also some glossy accents to give the water some texture.

lots of Tim goodies can be found at Lynne's craftden. Make sure you pop across here  and see what fab pieces my DT team mates have made..and maybe pop in an entry yourself!

I am entering this for the following challenges :
travel @ http://www.charismacardz.blogspot.co.uk/
travel @ http://crafts4eternity.blogspot.co.uk/
vintage @ http://www.gingerloftchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/
the man in your life @ http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/
have a fab fun and inky day!

  3. Hi Trace, I love this set of stamps. I think the colours you have used work perfectly and I love that technique you used with masking tape, not tried that one, it works so well and your notebook is lovely. Would be great as a travel journal.
