Hey there bloggers,
Well the horrible virus that has stopped craftyplay and blogging fun is hopefully on the run!!!
away from me and fingers crossed the rest of the family!and evryone else!
So still with a sore throat but shivers gone
here is my offering for Simon says this week:
The theme is a little bit of brown....and you know I love my brown distress inks so..
what else would I add but a little bit of broken china....
I started by covering my frame in tissue tape and colouring with...vintage photo DI
The background piece was cut from the destinations stack
and coloured with DI and then used flick and spritz technique....
got a bit carried away...can you tell?!!
I added lots of on the edge die cut cogs, coloured in broken china,
added clear embossing powder and tapped and smudged a lot off, heated and then coloured again with vintage photo and walnut stain...
a bit like rusted enamel from the master himself Tim,
but I did smudge a lot off....
The weathered clock die was done in the same way and two of the hands.
The other elements are hands coloured with distress and mine
were too..thanks goodness for my craft scrubbie..I them added lots
of yummy idea-ology...ooh
and some old watch parts in the little bottles..
I love the sentiment..and definitely enjoyed
my crafty play with this one!! but then there is nothing like some crafty play
to make me smile!!the inkier the better!
I hope to catch up with all my friends today, if not tomorrow!
I love my little place in blogland and
have missed being here!
Let me know what you think and
hope you have all been having a good week!
