Happy fathers day dad! with love.x

Well here is something I have made for fathers day for my much loved dad, hope he likes it:
and now the other side...

I started with a large blank block of wood, all my favourite Tim steampunk goodies and a sprinkle of love!
I covered the block in card stock embossed with a fab time embossing folder and inked with DI., this was used to cover all sides. All the cog elements were die cut and then made using a fab favourite technique of mine, rusted enamel...just love this..in this case I rubbed quite a lot of the embossing powder off to allow for a colour contrast...well I love all Tim's techniques really ,so hard to chooses a favourite! But this is mine for today!!!

I added lots of stamped elements , coloured using DI and some ideaology .The feet are wooden beads coloured with DI and a knob added for the top.On the steampunk guys I removed the men's face colour, another Tim thing and love the effect this gives!

I have had a ball making this! I loved every minute....
