Up up and away!!! travel with the artistic stamper and i nearly missed this bus!!!
Hey there,
Well here I am again with a card made and unblogged but my familiar monochrome type style, be warned having found a new found love of colour from doing Tim's course ..details here, there may be a burst of colour coming here soon!!
So here he is, my card I mean!!
I started in my fashion of making a strip of background using distress stains, the more in play with these the more I love them!!!! Then I made paler background using distress inks applied to craft sheet.
I then stamped the compass from indigo blu sheet of stamps to background. Some first and some second generation stamping has been used. the hot air balloon , again from indigo blu was stamped in distress and clear embossed!.I added a sentiment, also from the same sheet and then a hot air balloon charm, from stash.
short and sweet today!!
I am entering this for the following competitions:

Tick tock tick tock...
Hey there,
Well in an effort to try and give my blog some love after being a non blogger, here I am with a fairly simple time themed note book:
I started with a small kraft coloured notebook and painted with two layers of different coloured emulsion.once dry I added some colour with distress inks and then stamped some text randomly with distress inks!no shock there then!!!!
I stamped the small pocket watch, a freebie from craft stamper, twice in archical and when dry added colour with distress inks.then added glossy accents to the small circle.
I added a sentiment from whimsy stamps, made in same way, some chain from stash and a watch charm.
Short and sweet post today, hope you like the finished book!back in a bit with day 7 of creative chemistry!!!
I am entering this for the following competition:

Hey there,
Well what a week, I have enrolled on the online course , creative chemistry with the one and only, master crafter Tim Holtz...the only way I am going to get to take a class is online!!
WOW, I have had a ball in week one, I haven't had a chance to do the tags themselves until this weekend but have loved the inspiration and actually the creative release it has given me!!
I have been encouraged to work with a far wider range of colours together and found I love it!!! Played, got inky and am now a Tim Holtz, non stamp cleaning convert....and I think my stamps are happy!!!!grubby, played with and happy!!!!... And my cloth, well pretty!!! and inky!!
So here are my tags for day one ....
blended distress, spritz and flick:
brushless watercolour:
and the third technique , wrinkle-free distress:
although I have tried two of these before, it made me use more colours and i found I love that, what a great week!
If you sign up for the course you get videos, passion, enthusiasm, knowledge and a lifetime access to the material, plus technique sheets and summaries of the techniques to put on the tags...Tim has worked so hard and boy would I love to do an in person course!!!!but this has been truly fab.....here's looking forward to week two!!!!!!!!
will be back with brief summary of days three, four and five in a bit!
Have a fab fun and inky day!

On the wings of imagination!!!
Hey the bloggers,
Well he is my crafty offering, a tag made a while back and never blogged, my experiment with colour wash sprays!!!! short and sweet post today, shocking i know!!!
This is a lot brighter than my usual tags and a real 'experiment'for me!!!, so here she is:
I started by creating my handmade background using, masks, colour wash sprays and going for it, my thoughts were oh blimey that's bright!!!! once I had removed the masks I heat dried with heat tool, then over stamped a fab Tim script in black archival, very gently..I love the detail of adding little snippets of text to the background!
The butterfly was made using a Wendy Vecchi stamp onto colour wash sprayed paper and so was the quote, which I love!!!!Well It is Tim's!!!!!!!
I added ribbon spritzed with colour wash sprays and some ideaology, some pins from stash and a rosette made from a new Tim die I had for my birthday!!!!
Overall,I am pleased with this piece, but it is fairly bright for me!!!
I am entering this for the following competitions:

I'm back!!!! Here is my spring into Easter dt piece for anything goes
Hey there,
Well I have really missed blogging and crafting, but needed the time to look after my family after the sad news, see few posts below for details, the funeral went off as well as can be expected and now we are all just exhausted and needing some restful time, but I am back and raring to throw myself back into crafting and blogging!
The looking after will continue but crafting and blogging will now be my retreat!!!!
So, enough , onwards, it is challenge time over at anything goes challenge again and this time the theme is getting ready for Easter, now this was a challenge for me but here is my dt piece:
I used some fab Tim stamps, wow that man is awesome!!! And some, as yet, under used and un loved distress inks from my set...dried marigold , scattered straw and bundled sage and a spring set of Tim stamps..
I started with my favourite background technique, distress inks, spritz with water , dab off and re add some DI..once dry I over stamped the corner with this fantastic flourish design in bundled sage. The left hand strip was done in the same way.
The butterflies were stamped in black archival and when dry coloured with DI.The sentiment was from another Tim set but I love it!!! The flowers, well, during my blogging absence I have made about 50!!!all ready to go and these were made using movers and shapers tattered floral die...
The watch and chain are from stash...
And finally Mr Rabbit, stamped with black archival onto cream and then coloured with my new Distress marker...Oh wow, have only had a little play but these are fab!!!!well They are Tim's after all!!!!!
Well thanks for all the lovely comments and hope you will be back to follow my crafty journey, now I have returned.
Please pop over to anything goes challenge blog here for all the fab Dt pieces and maybe pop in an entry yourself!!
Also for all your crafty goodies pop across to craft den here.
Have a fab , fun and inky day
