hey there, thanks for taking the time to stop by again...
2nd post today.
it has been a long time , far too long......
since I have managed to make and blog my entry for
compendium of curiosities vol 2 challenges,
hosted by the lovely Linda here
this week is reflective imagery and can be seen
in wonderful detail in compendium of curiosities vol 2
by the crafty master himself Tim Holtz on page 55
..
so here is my make:
I have never tried this and cannot tell you the details..
but boy I love it!!
and yes I did succumb and add some sticky embossing powder
and loose rock candy glitter..
cannot make much without them
at the moment!!
so glad I managed to play along
and blog the finished piece in time too!!!
have fun and inky day..
will be back tomorrow ..
with more!!!
I am entering this tag for the following competitions:
reflective imagery @ http://studiol3.blogspot.co.uk/

ReplyDeleteWow - those flourishes and embossed music in the background already won my heart before I ever got to your fabulous ornament. I, of course, didn't bring my Fragments with me, so this challenge came at the wrong time as far as I'm concerned - ah well, it's lovely seeing what you've done as inspiration for playing once I get home!

A very elegant tag.
ReplyDeleteLove what you have done with the fragments Trace, never used mine so at least it has given me great inspiration! Your tag is beautiful, love the relections showing in the music score. Hugs, Anne x
ReplyDeleteFabulous use of this technique. Doesn't it create the best results! You've nailed it with that subtle background as it really allows your fragment to take centre stage. Hugs, Buttons x
