Well there is just time for me to add my take on Tim's tag for January 2016, where he is revisiting some of his previous tags and techniques....
I never fail to be inspired to get inky ...
I have followed his lead but played around with some of the elements to create my own tag inspired by his version...
So for all Tim's wonderful details...click here ....
and without further ado ..here is my take, inspired by Tim's..
So I decided to play with a layered smaller tag on a larger tag for this one...and created the background for the large tag using the chalkboard inspired technique but using a stencil instead of a stamp...
Then I added my size #8 tag ,, using industrial metal piece of the tag...and layered onto my base tag..
Some chalkboard style stamped embellishments...and well wouldn't be me if some idea-ology didn't find its way in here too.. a girl can never have enough idea-ology!
To complete the top , some seam binding dyed with pumice stone and the gorgeous hickory smoke...some mini staples in little kisses.. and yes more idea-ology ...
To make this wonderful gent stand out I edged with a smidge of black soot distress paint...
and a smidge more idea-ology ...
well hopefully I haven't forgotten too much of this blogging lark and hoping with a fair wind I may be back soon....
I will be linking my tag up to Tim's tags and do hope I will manage to do all 12 this year ... but who knows - I've made a start x
