steampunk men and my favourite distress inks!!!

Well hey there bloggers,
hope you are enjoying this wonderful sunshine and getting inky too!!
I have finally made the deadline for A Simon says stamp challenge and am feeling rightly chuffed with myself!!!So, here it is :
The theme was men and I have wanted to use these fab stamps from Creative Expressions and they seemed to fit the bill.I used distress inks which I don't think I could live without!! And lots of Tim things which are a must!I made the background in two halves, one half overstamped with cogs and the word inventor using DI's antique linen , tea dye and walnut stain.
The other half was made using a Tim embossing folder and inking using same DI's.The cogs were cut using a Tim die and yes you have got it... coloured using distress inks.The image and inventor were also using DI's.
 I coloured the staples for my mini attacher using alcohol inks in a small bag. as I wanted theme to fit the brown theme!!!I used them to attach sentiment and to add detail down the side. I added cogs sticking out along side of card..and I am chuffed with the overall effect.
The challenge over at Sunday Stampers is MOJO. If my mojo has disappeared these tend to be the colours
I would choose to get him back...!!!
