yes you've guessed it,
more riveted patchwork..
cannot stop sorry!
i WILL post something different next time!
so here is my piece:
i started with a riveted patchwork background and only sanded off some of the colour
as i liked the effect
then i added a tree die cut and stamped cobwebs
around the corners..
the stones, a new Tim die ..which is fab..in my humble opinion!!
was coloured with pumice stone, lots of weathered wood distress added...,
i brushed some off around edges before heating...
then added more grey and black soot..
hope that make sense..
i added some bats..LOVE these too
well i love bats anyway...
The sentiment was stamped, covered with rock candy and then i chipped the centre out..
well i will be back soon with something different...
promise!

Loving these last two riveting projects - using different colours of alcohol inks really changes the mood of them and has added so much fab texture. Hugs, Buttons x

You must be going through the metal tape at a rate of knots!! But I love what you're doing with it - the spooky sunset colours here are wonderful, and I love your silhouetted tree and gravestones. Fab make!

Fabulous loving those stones too!!!
ReplyDeleteThe metal fits perfectly for Halloween and combined with your other elements and techniques you have one spooktacular tag (sorry I couldn't resist that).
ReplyDeleteHope you have had a great weekend.
hugs {brenda} xox
Gorgeous card and I love the bats too! This is the first I have seen of the rivet technique and find it very interesting. It looks quite amazing. Thanks for joining us this week at Addicted to Stamps and More!
ReplyDeleteLove your riveted metal pieces! And that you use colors other than black! So cool, the orange is even better!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I love your metal!!!!
ReplyDeleteStill loving your patchwork metal and the colour changes the image from the last play anyway. All the elements work really well and I love the use of the rock candy. I don't like real bats but the die cut ones are cute and look good here (I have the die so I can't dislike them that much!). Have a good week Trace.
ReplyDeleteJuliaxx
