well here , i am with a piece that was ready to blog
and then life took over..
so here i am almost missing the challenge...
... Simon says read all about it...
so i decided to alter a now unwanted board book from my children...
i started by covering the board book in DIY foil tape,
front and back and edges..
under the front cover i added some cogs and washers..
then covered the covers...
in alcohol inks..
Finally i added chit chat stickers..
wings textured and inked..
the inside pages have been prepared and are ready for the off..
i love that this book started life as a treasured board book, once loved and now left..
awaiting a new lease of life..
i had loads of fun and can see me doing this again..soon..
I am entering this for the following competitions:
