OH, I'm in LOVE!!! Rusted goodness, and what a great inspire'er you had! I love the bits you used and the image is fantastic and excellently colored! Amazing job! Thank you so much for being inspired this week and sharing it with us at Simon Says Stamp & Show!
ReplyDeleteThat is completely WONDERFUL. You definitely achieved your aim. I love that image too & it looks great with all the metal embellishments.
ReplyDeleteTrace...this paperboard hanging is fantastic! I really love the rusted, industrial look you've achieved on this piece! WOW! All of your Dad's screws and washers mixed with Tim's gears and so forth look incredible! Love how you've used them on opposite corners. Very cool design and technique on covering them with the gesso. Your homemade and purchases ink sprays really do give that very aged and rusted look! Beautiful! Then...the addition of Tim's new sketched gentleman colored with the Distress Inks and a water brush is THE perfect thing. He's gorgeous! Love the color tones you've used on him. Perfect for that grungy, industrial look you were going for. Thanks so much for joining us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy
ReplyDeleteI think everyone has said it all Trace, it really is wonderful. This is one of my very favourite images (yeah I know I have a lot of favourites lol) and the background is perfect for him. Have a fab weekend xx
