So here are the results of my playtime today :
The first tag is another using brushless watercolour tag and the same windmill image ...but this time using wrinkle free distress ...
so I used one of the backgrounds and the windmill from yesterday...
to create a tag
Tag 1 for today :
So here is the finished tag and yesterdays using same colour palette can be found here ..
I added a bit of stamped and clear embossed detail first
Here is a close up of the detail of the top part of the tag ...I added a sticker and some stapled detail..
for the bottom part of the tag I added some twisted rusty wire..
Tag 2 for today :
I layered two tags , one larger and one smaller ...edged with ground espresso..
and added some stamped detail..
I added more idea-ology and some dyed seam binding..
coupled with a brushless watercolour stamped image ...
at the bottom part of the tag , I added some twisty wire and a light bulb...
Tag 3 :
using some brighter summery colours ..
I used wrinkle free distress for the large tag .. and used four colours of distress as per the challenge
I added some dyed seam binding..
and tried to keep the tag simple..........
here is a close up of the top of the tag
here is the base of the tag...
Tag 4 :
The lovely Amanda ..mentioned maybe I could try using the bright colours that Lucy had used ...
so this one is for you Amanda ...
not sure I am as successful as little Lucy was here .. at the end of this post
here is a close up of the tag ..
and here is a close up of the bottom of the tag ...
so thanks if you have made it to the end of the post...
I am loving playing !!
keep those fingers inky!!

Ooo awesome tag Trace!! TFS :D
ReplyDeleteHi Trace! From the looks of your post, you are a most excellent student of Tim's creative chemistry classes! Your tags are gorgeous and I love your backgrounds! I love your designs. I wanted to thank you we're stopping by my blog and leaving such a sweet comment about my art journal pages.
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to see more makes from you! Like before the pause they are so different from my style (s), but so inspirational! Glad to read/hear from you! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous! Trace. Love how you have 'dressed them up'.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I hope you didn't think I was being rude or anything with my comment about you and little Lucy trading colours as that wasn't how it was meant at all. It was said more for the fun factor that you would both have as you tormented each other to get 'your' colours back .lol I love the colour palettes you normally favour as you do them so well and I knew equally that you would make easy work of the brights too. Your purple tag is a real beauty .
Great to see you having so much fun with the summer school. I've done mine and spares too ( much like you once ya start ya just can't stop ) but havent blogged them or linked them up yet - not sure whether to or not tbh .
Thanks for the link to my blog Trace - much appreciated x
These are amazing Trace and something quite different.

Fabulous makes, you really seem to be loving the refreshers and getting the most out of them. I still can't get access to my account and online card classes are being less than helpful. Will have to wait till next week now xx
