i am so excited to be able to share my news
i am thrilled to have been chosen as one of 8 design team members
for creative expressions 2012,
along with some incredibly talented ladies!
so i am really honoured to have been selected
so here is my first piece this month:
i started by using the riveted patchwork,
which can be found in compendium of curiosities vol 2
by Tim Holtz.
i have adapted this by using DIY metal tape .
the tape is coloured with alcohol inks.
underneath the tape i did add some cog die cuts,
which give some great texture.
The fab steampunk bird was embossed in cosmic shimmer silver,
and coloured using distress markers
the colours were blended
i added a mini pin for his eye
and some distress stickles for the holly berries.
the sentiment,
was stamped onto a piece of card coloured with distress inks
and using rusted enamel technique from
compendium of curiosities .
to complete the card,
i added some fab idea-ology cogs..
and some spinners
just love these!!!!
