There is beauty in simplicity .. for Dragons Dream TIO DT

Well it is time for another challenge over at Dragons Dream TIO and this time the theme has been chosen by the lovely Gabrielle .. so without further ado..the recipe is : blue, music and tissue tape/tissue paper. Remember you need to make a tag and use at least one real stamp.

You may have to search hard for the music in mine but it is there...honest! So here is my make :

So I started with a corrugated piece of card and stuck this to a  large tag and then added some torn card on it. I then added texture paste through a stencil and coloured all the tag blue. I highlighted some areas with treasure gold.

For the main image I stamped in Distress ink and then used a waterbrush to pull out the colour. I layered this on pieces of dyed cheesecloth to create a soft and gentle feel....Can you spot the tissue tape and music?

The sentiment was stamped in Distress and clear embossed...both are from Artistic Outpost set..

So make sure you pop across to the blog here to see my fab team mates makes .

have a fun and inky day!

  5. Fab colour and love the chaotic design; suits the watercolours... Somehow reminds this me on days laying near the water, relaxing and sometimes take a quick dive... Sunny greetings, Gerrina

  16. This piece has a very calming effect on me. Love the blue tones and all the texture. Love how you did the texture paste text - awesome! The addition of the fabric to "frame" or mat the focal image is inspired. Love the whole thing
