if the crown fits..

well it is Thursday

and time for another creative expressions DT make..

this time using the if the crown fits plate 

as we were lucky to have two sheets to play with..

I have chosen this one for today

another different make for me

 

so here is my make this week:

 

 

again I have gone for a neutral palette with this card

and included a face from the Tim sheet of stamps

found here..

 

I started by clear embossing the crowns on the card , to create a resist,

lots of pumice stone and a hint of black soot distress

and some flick and spritz and the background was complete.

 

 

 I added a flat and pleated piece of tissue tape,

and on the pleated piece a twist of wire

with some small beads threaded on..not sure they show

 

 

finally I added

a face stamped in black archival, the crown..cut out

and added at an angle to create dimension

and some liquid pearls for pearls..

and the sentiment

 

 

a simple make..

but hopefully effective
