my tag no 6 for the funkie junkies 12 tags of 2012

well I hope everyone is safe and dry with all this awful weather around..

sorry for the flurry of posts..

and thanks to everyone who takes the time to follow my journey

but I am playing catch up as was a late starter

 with Linda aka the funkie junkies fab 12 tags of Christmas...

so all the details are here..

 all you have to do is make a tag for each of the 12 inspired

by something from Linda's wonderful tag..saying what it is

 and link it up.. then if you manage all 12

for this tag

I stuck to my favourite blues, and iced spruce..

and was inspired by the tree and the embossed finish on the clock..

which I used on my snowflakes..

 

I liked the text background so covered my tag in tissue wrap.

and lashings of picket fence..

and a layer of thin rock candy crackle paint

 

note to self: remember to stick the text up the right way next time!!!!

 

 

now the tree was cut, coloured and

 

shh I had to cover it on rock candy distress glitter didn't I

oops and some fell on the flowers!!!

 

then I added snowflakes, inked

and embossed

then liquid pearl and fab winter foliage added for centres..

 

 

finally

a flower ..cant help myself!

and some seam binding coloured with DI

 

have a fun and inky day!
