playing with steampunk, paints and inks

hold onto your hats..
i have made a card!!!!
i know shocking eh?well actually i made
this card a while back..

but busy with holiday preparations and
playing with children,
oh and the Olympics,so crafting is slow...
anyway  here it is :

i created this card using some fab steampunk stamps from creative expressions,
 lots of inkiness and paintiness,
rock candy, lots of layers
and some ideaology..

sorry cannot remember exactly how i did each section,
as it was a while ago,
the layers included perfect pearls, stencilling, and stamping..i love the grungy feel
these various layers create all put together.
the cog die cuts are from canvas on a roll, inked and ideaology added.

the image, sentiment..which i love
and inventor word are from creative expressions theme plates
i love these stamps, they are full of steampunk yumminess!

i covered the stamped and inked elements in rock candy
and finally added some screw brads
I am entering this for the following competitions:
